Social Media Marketing Executive (Chinese)

  • Our Petaling Jaya head office, with shoots around the Klang Valley
  • RM 3,000 to RM 4,000 a month

Run Grandpride's Chinese-language social media, from the shoot to the post to the numbers, so Chinese-speaking customers find our cars and chauffeurs. We're hiring one. A second role looks after our English and Malay channels.

What you’ll do

  • Plan each month's Chinese-language posts for Xiaohongshu (RedNote), TikTok, Facebook and Instagram with the team.
  • Shoot and edit short videos and photos of the fleet, handovers, weddings, events and the people behind them.
  • Write captions and video scripts in Chinese, and in English when a post needs both.
  • Reply to comments and messages in Chinese, and pass booking questions to the front desk the same day.
  • Work with Chinese-speaking creators, event partners and customers on content and collaborations.
  • Plan shoots with our English and Malay executive, so one shoot can serve both sides.
  • Help run boosted posts and ads with the team, and report each month on reach, engagement and enquiries, with what to try next.

What you bring

  • 1 to 3 years of social media work for a brand or an agency, or a portfolio that shows you can do it.
  • A portfolio of Chinese-language posts and videos you made yourself.
  • Shooting on a phone and editing short videos in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
  • Canva or a similar design tool.
  • Good written Chinese (simplified characters), spoken Mandarin and good English.
  • Some evenings and weekends for events and shoots.

Good to have

  • Growing an account on Xiaohongshu (RedNote).
  • Cantonese, or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Comfortable presenting on camera in Mandarin.
  • Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads.
  • A diploma or degree in marketing, mass communication or media.
  • A driving licence, since shoots happen around the Klang Valley.
  • A love of cars.
