TRX parking is underground, and you reach it through the TRX Tunnel, which has its own slip roads off Jalan Tun Razak and an exit from the SMART Tunnel. Follow the purple TRX signs, take the tunnel, and come up into the car park under The Exchange TRX through any of its four exits. If you're being dropped off instead, the Luxury Drop-off off Persiaran TRX is the door to use.
Getting in
From Jalan Tun Razak you can reach the mall from either direction:
- Coming from the Bulatan Kampung Pandan side, keep left and take the slip road to the TRX Tunnel.
- Coming from the Mont Kiara and Damansara side, keep left, then take the slip road on your right and look for the TRX tunnel entrance.
If you're using the SMART Tunnel, take its exit marked TRX, which leads into the TRX Tunnel.
The drop-off and premium parking are reached a different way, from Jalan Barat via the slip road onto Persiaran TRX.
Put "The Exchange TRX" into Waze or Google Maps and let it choose. The slip roads come up with little warning on Jalan Tun Razak, and the purple signs are the thing to watch for.
Where to park
| Option | Where | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Main car park | Basement levels, through the TRX Tunnel | Most visits |
| Premium Parking | Concourse Floor, from Persiaran TRX, past the Luxury Drop-off | Direct access to the mall, a shorter walk |
| Valet | At the Luxury Drop-off, and on Level B2 | Evenings, shopping bags, a car you'd rather not park yourself |
| EV and hybrid bays | Around Welcome Halls C and D, with blue or pink pillars | Charging while you shop |
| Ladies' and accessible bays | Near the Welcome Halls | As marked |
The mall's app shows free bays by zone and has a Find My Car function. In a basement that size, note your zone and the nearest Welcome Hall before you walk off, or use the app.
Rates and payment methods aren't covered here because they change; check the signs at the entrance or the mall's own site before you go.
Being dropped off
E-hailing and private cars can drop you at three points: the TRX Mall Valet at the Luxury Drop-off, the MRT Plaza Entrance, and the Market Lane Entrance at Raintree Plaza. The Luxury Drop-off is the natural place for a chauffeur to set you down and pick you up again; give the chauffeur that name and the time you'll be out.
A chauffeur by the hour means nobody hunts for a bay at all. Bookings run from 3 to 23 hours, the car waits or circles while you're inside, and hours that start from 7 pm cost 30% more, which matters if you're staying for dinner. Book online at least two days ahead.
Or take the train
Tun Razak Exchange is an MRT interchange station, and a pedestrian link takes you from it into the mall at Concourse level. If you're staying near an MRT station, the train beats the evening traffic on Jalan Tun Razak. Pavilion KL in Bukit Bintang is close by, and visiting Pavilion KL by car covers its car park.
In a rented car
The Mercedes-Benz G63, the Range Rovers and the big MPVs are tall and wide, so read the height limit at the entrance before you commit to the ramp. Low supercars have the opposite problem with steep ramps; take them slowly and at an angle. Our guide to parking in Kuala Lumpur covers more of this, and visiting KLCC by car does the same job for Suria KLCC, a short drive away.
A Grandpride rental comes with 120 km a day, which covers a TRX evening from anywhere in the Klang Valley several times over.
