If you live or stay in Subang Jaya, you don't need to come to us. Grandpride's showroom is in Section 13, Petaling Jaya, one town over, and for car rental in Subang Jaya the car comes to your door: free within 10 km of the showroom, RM 100 anywhere else in the Klang Valley. Parts of Subang Jaya fall inside the free zone and parts may not, so send us the address and we'll tell you before you book CHECK: which parts of Subang Jaya (SS12 to SS19, USJ, Bandar Sunway, Putra Heights) fall inside the free 10 km zone, and is the 10 km measured by road or in a straight line.
Getting the car to you
Book online, choose delivery at checkout and type the full address, down to the condo block or the shoplot. Someone else can receive the car if their details are on the booking, which helps if you're at work in Sunway when the car arrives at home in USJ. How much notice a delivery needs is CHECK: minimum notice for a delivery, and the hours deliveries are made.
From Section 13 the drive is short whichever way it goes: the Federal Highway runs straight from PJ into Subang Jaya, and the LDP and KESAS reach USJ and Putra Heights. Which car, for which Subang plan
- Errands, a week of school runs, a car while yours is in the workshop: the Perodua Myvi at RM 200 a day, or the Honda Jazz. Both are small enough for the tight bays around the SS15 shops.
- Family visiting for Raya or Chinese New Year: a seven-seat MPV, from RM 900 a day for a Vellfire. Seven-seater car rental compares the Vellfire, the Alphards and the Lexus LM.
- Meetings in Sunway or the airport side of Subang: a sedan with a bit of presence, such as the BMW 3 Series at RM 1,500 a day.
- A weekend that's an occasion: anything on the full fleet list, up to the supercars.
Every rental includes 120 km a day. Subang Jaya to KL city and back is a short day; the 120 km covers it with room left. Pay the RM 50 booking fee online (it comes off the total) and the rest in store or in person, and return the car with the same fuel level it had at delivery.
Rain in USJ and Sunway
Flash floods after a heavy afternoon downpour hit parts of the Klang Valley often enough to plan around, and in October 2026 they disrupted roads from USJ to Shah Alam. In a hired car the advice is short: don't drive into standing water you can't judge the depth of, and wait it out at a mall rather than push through. Staying longer than a few days
If you're in Subang Jaya for a semester, a short contract or the weeks between selling one car and buying the next, a one-week or one-month rental is usually simpler than a string of e-hailing rides. Can you deliver the car to Subang Airport?
Subang airport (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah) is in the Klang Valley, so the RM 100 delivery rate would normally apply, unless it falls inside 10 km CHECK: can a car be handed over at Subang airport, and which delivery rate applies. Can my husband or wife drive too?
No. Only the named renter drives a Grandpride self-drive car. If two of you want to share the driving, book a chauffeur instead, or book in the name of whoever will drive.
Is there a Grandpride branch in Subang Jaya?
The head office and showroom is in Section 13, PJ, and a KLIA store is coming soon CHECK: does Grandpride have any other store, since the site says "one of our stores". Delivery brings the car to you instead.
