A luxury car rental price in Malaysia is a day rate per car, and with Grandpride nearly every car's rate is on its own page. Grouped by class, they show in one place what a day in an executive saloon, a seven-seat MPV, a supercar or a Rolls-Royce costs. Every day includes 120 km and Basic Cover, and the rates are the current ones, taken from each car's page.

This isn't the whole fleet. There are more Mercedes-Benz AMG models, a Volvo XC90, a 720S and an Aventador, among others, all on the full vehicle list. Where a row says "from", the figure is the lowest current rate among the cars of that model.
What the day rate already covers
- 120 km for each rental day.
- Basic Cover: if the car is damaged, you pay up to the standard excess CHECK: the standard excess for each class of car.
- An itemised price before you reserve, with no separate tax line added at the end.
Only a RM 50 booking fee is paid online, and it comes off your total. You reserve, then pay in store or in person.
What moves the total
- The number of days. A rental day is 24 hours from the time you collect CHECK: confirm a rental day runs 24 hours from pick-up, and whether any grace period applies on return, so the pick-up and return times you choose decide whether a weekend is two days or three. Our weekend car rental guide works through the common timings.
- Protection. Keep Basic Cover, lower the excess with a Loss Damage Waiver, or take Grandpride Protection+ for zero excess on damage and theft, with glass and tyres included. Each is priced for the car you pick.
- Mileage. Add 50 km or 100 km a day, or unlimited. Distance beyond your allowance is billed at that car's per-km rate afterwards, which costs more than an add-on chosen at the start.
- A Touch 'n Go toll card, loaded with RM 50 to RM 500. You pay what you load.
- Delivery. Free within 10 km of the Petaling Jaya showroom, RM 100 elsewhere in the Klang Valley, and by quote outside it. Collecting from the showroom costs nothing.
Fuel sits outside the price, because the car goes back at the level you collected it. CHECK: is a deposit taken; if so, how much by class, how is it paid and when is it refunded?
Things people ask
How much does it cost to rent a luxury car for a day?
It depends on the class, and the table above gives the current rate for each. As a rough guide to scale, a day in an executive saloon costs a fraction of a supercar day. Add the options you choose and the total is shown before you reserve.
What is the cheapest luxury car to rent in Malaysia?
Whichever car in the executive saloon and coupé class has the lowest rate on your dates. Rates and availability change, so compare those rows on the day you book. If price is the main thing, our guide to cheap luxury car rental in KL covers the other ways to pay less.
Are prices higher at weekends or festive seasons?
CHECK: do day rates change for weekends, public holidays or festive periods such as Hari Raya and Chinese New Year? The rate shown on the car's page for your dates is the one you pay.
Is a chauffeur priced the same way?
No. Chauffeur cars are priced by the hour, from 3 to 23 hours, or as a flat fare to KLIA and Genting. Our guide to chauffeur prices per hour in Kuala Lumpur explains the evening and overnight bands.
Can I get a better price for a longer rental?
Ask. The rental page says to, and for a week or more, send us your dates and the car you want before you reserve.
