Decide who's driving before you choose the car. Executive car rental in Kuala Lumpur at Grandpride comes two ways: a limousine the executive drives, like a BMW 740Li from RM 1,700 a day or a BMW i7 at RM 3,300, or the same class of car with a chauffeur, from RM 300 an hour for a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The rule that settles it: only the named renter may drive a self-drive car, and no additional drivers can be added. A company can't rent a limousine in a manager's name and hand the keys to a driver it has hired for the week. If the executive wants to sit in the back, book a car that comes with its chauffeur.

That last row is the driver service: a Grandpride driver in your company's car, door to door, unlimited stops, with overtime at RM 40 an hour or RM 50 after midnight.

The 740Li is the one for an executive who likes driving: a full-size BMW saloon that's as good from the driver's seat as from the back. For a stay of weeks, start from the day rate and ask us for a better price before you reserve CHECK: is there a weekly or monthly rate for the executive limousines?. Then sort out:
- Delivery. Free to a hotel or residence within 10 km of the Petaling Jaya showroom, RM 100 elsewhere in the Klang Valley, quoted beyond that. A KLCC hotel is within the Klang Valley CHECK: how much notice delivery needs.
- Mileage. 120 km a day covers most city weeks. Regular runs to Putrajaya, Seremban or the airport need +50 km or +100 km a day, or unlimited.
- Tolls. A Touch 'n Go card can come with the keys, loaded with RM 50 to RM 500.
- Borders. Anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia, not Singapore or Thailand.
- Fuel. Back at the level it was collected.

If the executive is driven

The i7 and the Lexus LM are on both lists, so you can drive either yourself or be driven in it. For a delegation of three or four with luggage, take the Lexus LM.
Bookings run from 3 to 23 hours, with as many stops as the day needs. Hours that start between 7 pm and 11 pm cost 30% more and 11 pm to 7 am 50% more; over 12 hours, 10% comes off. An assistant can book on the executive's behalf with "Booking for someone else", and the chauffeur contacts the passenger directly on the day. Add a flight number and the flight is tracked; ask for a nameboard and it'll be waiting at arrivals. Some cars have onboard Wi-Fi, which turns the back seat into an office between meetings.
Online bookings need at least two days' notice. You pay a RM 50 booking fee online and the rest in store or in person. Can our company driver drive a rented limousine?
No. Only the named renter drives a self-drive car. Book a chauffeured car, or hire a Grandpride driver for a car the company owns.
Can several executives share one car?
As passengers, yes. If more than one of them wants to drive, each needs a car booked in their own name.
